About Me

Hi, I’m Tara! I’m a Registered Dietitian who’s passionate about helping people feel their best through simple, realistic nutrition changes. I work with clients living with heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and those looking to manage their weight in a healthy and sustainable way!

I completed my Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Human Nutrition at the University of Guelph and my Master of Health Science in Nutrition Communication at Toronto Metropolitan University.

Outside of my private practice, I work full-time as the only Registered Dietitian for the Central East Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Program, where I help patients improve their cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, and weight through practical nutrition and lifestyle support.

As someone from a South Asian background, I understand how important cultural foods are to you and your family. I love helping clients find ways to enjoy traditional meals while still supporting their heart and overall health.

In my practice, I emphasize the importance of nutrition education and practical strategies tailored to individual needs. I believe that small, sustainable changes can lead to significant improvements in health and well-being. I am dedicated to creating a supportive environment where my clients feel motivated and informed.

My goal is to make heart-healthy eating tasty,  personalized, and enjoyable—so you can feel confident and in control of your health!
